Using a decontamination protocol created especially for us by a licensed third-party industrial hygenist, Ameridry uses CDC-approved and EPA-registered disinfectants.  Our trained remediation team is equipped with approved personal protection gear (suits, gloves and full-face respirators) to protect themselves, and are equipped with the tools necessary to ensure that your property is fully decontaminated.

For known exposures, we follow CDC guidelines for disinfecting material and surfaces, and will ensure proper disposal if/when necessary.

For decontamination of areas where exposure is not certain, we apply broad disinfection through the use of fogging equipment, and follow-up with a wipe-down all of exposed surfaces using hospital-grade disinfectants.

According to CDC data, COVID-19 can live on surfaces “for hours to days,” though there is not enough information at this time to definitively say how long areas should be quarantined to ensure an acceptable level of risk.

Ameridry is available to complete your COVID-19 either day or night, depending on the needs of the client.  Depending on the size and layout of the property, we will use a team of between 2 and 9 people, and the process should generally complete within about 4 hours.

We recommend that the property stay vacant for several hours after the decontamination process completes, but the entire “downtime” of the property is typically less than 12 or 24 hours, depending on the scope of the decontamination.

It’s important to understand that the decontamination process will ensure that any any COVID-19 exposure is remediated and the risk of further contamination at that point in time is eliminated.

But, the decontamination process can not eliminate the possibility of future contamination should an infected person be present at the location.
